People & technology
From Brazilian online forums in 1999 to today’s tools, I’m interested in how technology helps people connect. AI is a recent addition to that curiosity.

I’m Eduardo, a Brazilian living in Lisbon. I grew up in inland Brazil, before the internet and mobile phones became part of everyday life. My childhood was full of friends, playing in the street and going over to each other’s houses. I had the freedom to explore and even travel on my own. It felt safe to do so. Some of my closest friendships began back then.
I was curious, too. I’d get lost in encyclopedias, learned to program young and later found more people to talk to in early online communities.
Since then, I’ve lived in several countries and worked in engineering and business leadership. Investing, psychology, football and plenty of reading have also found their way into my life.
This is a place to write about what I’m learning and the questions I keep coming back to.

From Brazilian online forums in 1999 to today’s tools, I’m interested in how technology helps people connect. AI is a recent addition to that curiosity.
Stocks, fixed income, real estate and startups. A personal interest in making investing simpler, with less constant attention and more room for the rest of life.
Books, psychology, teaching and the occasional unexpected subject. My interests have never fitted neatly into a job title, and I like keeping it that way.
A note from the present
Updated
I’m giving this site a shape that feels more like me: space for work, investing and interests that don’t fit neatly into either.
AI is the newer part of that mix. I’m still working out where it actually helps.
